Basic Cusco: 3 days, 2 nights

Day 01.- Cusco in - City Tour

Reception, welcome and transfer to the chosen hotel. Rest in the morning to acclimatize to the high altitude. At 13:30 we will start the City Tour visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue with a visit to the museum of the Cathedral, where we will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks. Later we will visit the archaeological sites bordering the city of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 02.- Machu Picchu - Cusco

Breakfast. Very early in the morning (at around 05: 30 hrs.) A car will pick us from the chosen hotel and transfer us to the train station. The train leaves at 6:00am and arrives to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) Station at around 10:00am. Immediately we will take the bus that will bring us to Machu Picchu. We will continue with a guided visit all throughout this entire magical place during 2 hours, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, among others, at the end we will have a free time until 12:00 hrs. Then the bus will pick us up and take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train back to Cusco leaves at 4:00pm. arriving at this city at 8:00pm. approximately. Overnight.

Day 03.- Cusco out

Breakfast. At an appropriate time, transfer to the station/airport to return to the city of origin.
